If you run Windows, you should turn off UPnP.

Basically, UPnP is Universal Plug n Play, a network based architecture to allow auto configuration of network devices. But it has several major security holes and may lead to the user's PC being compromised.

IT IS HIGHLY ADVISED THAT YOU TURN OFF UPNP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Here is how to shut it off: Visit http://www.grc.com/unpnp/unpnp.htm. Download their utility to "turn off" UPnP (click the "Download Now" button). Further reading on the GRC web site will further explain the reasons why UPnP is so dangerous.
